![]() Granted, AC, Automobilista, Dirt Rally and other current-gen sims look a lot better than lfs, which basically remained unchanged for a decade (except for VR support and recently proper lighting), but the fact remains: playable demo-versions are sadly out of style for a while, now. ![]() A.C's physics are a notch above that in fidelity, same story with the better rFactor-mods, -spin-offs and other more serious racing-sims. Physics were ahead of its time back in 2006 and will show you the way into what it is like to drive on the edge with no help from a "computer". Which works well in mouse-steering mode and can surely be made to work with a controller, if that's your cup of tea. In that case I always recommend to check out the (free!) demo-content of ![]() 2 hours is barely enough to dial in a wheel, let alone for newcomers to the simulated driving/racing genre to aclimatise (with a controller, no less). Are there servers that have a arcade style setup in case I get tired from the sim aspect and want something a bit more silly (maybe even Trackmania level of silly)? When you get tired from the Sim aspect in a Driving "Simulator" its not your Cup of Tea.But try it,if your under 2 hours ingametime, you can get a refund from Steam. ![]() Originally posted by somedude1013:Hmm, I don't have a wheel and pedal setup so I'll probably end up using a controller, but I don't know if that would work for this type of game. ![]()
